Planned?

    White knew that somebody must of planned this out.  Why would Fernandez do this to them on his own?  He had somebody--somebody that had maybe...ordered him?  Or was he working along with him on his own free will?  Was he getting paid?  Was he put up to doing this to the colonists?  Did he really want them all dead--with no hope whatsoever? Was it really just Fernandez that maybe had a grudge with White, or not...  Or was there really somebody back in England, or somewhere in Europe, working with him.  Was he royalty? Did they know the Queen?  Or were they some stranger that nobody had heard of?  We think this mystery has been uncovered and might know exactly who it was and why they did it....
